Overall, this is a really good value for mone foundation if you can access it for USD$3.99. Where I am more oily, the foundation seems to have moved and faded a little bit, but if I had touched up during the day, it would have still looked pretty good. It’s not advertised as a long-wearing foundation, but at the end of the day, even though my face got oily in the t-zone areas, the foundation still seems to look quite good on my cheeks, chin and my forehead. I think I needed a more yellow undertone and lighter shade than this one.

The shade was already a little off, and after about 2 hours, it oxidised on my skin so it got darker. I use a finishing powder to set the foundation to make it last longer, but obviously, this is not a mattifying foundation so my face became oily within 3 hours of application. I hardly use flash photography but if you use the right shade or mix your right shade, flash photography would look really nice. The semi-matte to natural finish is really nice so that skin does not look cakey.

It provides medium to full coverage in a relatively lightweight formula (dry to the touch and not sticky or thick at all). Secondly, the shade range is pretty impressive. Overall: First of all, this is really affordable (if eBay doesn’t jack up the price) even with the shipping to New Zealand.

I set this with my MAC Next to Nothing Pressed Powder which is a thin, very low coverage pressed powder. This foundation covers my redness, hides my pores and blackheads with one even layer and the finish is quite a natural finish which I really like. I don’t have much pigmentation spots or freckles, so that’s not my concerns. I have redness on my cheeks, blackheads on my nose and open pores on my cheeks as well. The coverage of the foundation is medium-full coverage. Nonetheless, I like to pick up the product and put it on the back of my hand and then I use either a blending sponge or a buffing brush to apply the product.

I would prefer either a pump or a dropper instead. Personally, I don’t like this type of packaging where you need to either pour the foundation out or scoop the product out with a spatula (not very hygienic if you need to touch the applicator). Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Foundation How I find it: This foundation comes in a glass bottle with a black plastic screw cap with a spatula attached. Tested under 7 light conditions with and without the use of flash.Featuring light-adjusting complex to help prevent white cast in photos.Specially made with a matte, light-diffusing complex to give your skin #nofilter perfection. Our new high-performing, skin-perfecting foundation underwent major road testing under seven different photo lighting conditions to deliver flawless camera-ready makeup every time. What I got: This is the Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Foundation in 366c Buff Biqsue. I got this on 12/4 for NZD$8.59 (NZD$10.75 for shipping!) and it was delivered on 22/4/17. Unfortunately, the shade that I want (Soft Beige – Light-medium warm) is pretty much everywhere!! Since I really wanted to try this out, I figured out Buff Bisque (Light-medium neutral) would kind of work, I ordered it. We do not have Wet n Wild products readily available in shops in New Zealand, so I searched for this on eBay and bought myself a bottle. Where I got it: I think I first saw this product in one of Taylor’s (ThaTaylaa) 15 days of Foundation videos, or Tati’s (Tati GlamLifeGuru) OMG series.
